Students need a CIL testing account before they start taking tests. It is recommended that they set up an Aggiemail account and set that as their preferred address in Banner, but they may use any email address.
To activate their CIL testing account, they login to iNetTest with their A-number and Banner password. If they do not have an account, it will step them through creating one and let them register to take the CIL tests. If they already have an account, it will just log them in, after which they can choose Register for Tests to add themselves to the CIL test group. Their account will be available for testing immediately.
Students will be charged a $30 fee for the CIL tests. If a student has not already been charged this fee, it will be assessed when their account is created and they start taking the tests. CIL does not put a hold on students’ accounts, but the Registrar’s office may not let a student register if they owe money, so the CIL fee should be paid as soon as possible.
This fee is payable to the USU Registrar’s office via the Internet, at extension sites, or a check can be sent to CIL, 0310 Old Main Hill, Logan, UT 84322.
The CIL website has information that is helpful for students preparing for the tests. The competencies for each test are all explained in the tutorials. If students know how to do everything listed on the tutorials and practice tests, they will know how to do everything on the test.
THE CIL TUTORIALS OR OTHER ONLINE HELP CANNOT BE OPEN WHILE TAKING THE TESTS.
